Years ago I read somewhere on twitter that finally Physicians Formula was gonna be sold here in Uk.

I was very impatient about it and have a guess, I STILL AM cos it hasn't happened yet.

The good news is that it is now available in Italy so every time I go I make sure I pay a quick visit to the nearest counter.

Today I want to review the Youthful Wear Spotless Foundation.

This is one of those serum liquid weightless formula and promises to target spots and pigmentations giving your skin a younger aspect.

It is paraben and gluten free and it comes with a nice small synthetic brush.

The application is very easy, you just need to shake the bottle and work it with the brush until you reach the desired coverage.

I will start from the negative notes.

First: two shades only available, light and medium.

Second: I appreciate the effort but the brush is far too small for a foundation applicator, I will use it for concealer though cos it's a pretty decent brush.

Apart from those two negative aspect, I must say this is a very good product.

It blends nicely and you can really blend it for a full coverage if you like.

I have a lot of pigmentations on my cheeks and as you can see from the pictures, they have been completely covered.

The texture is very lightweight and feels very velvety on skin, I barely need setting powder after using it and lasts all day long without creasing or patching.

It has a pipette application that I absolutely love, I apply it straight on my face if I am in a rush (so 99% of time) or on the beauty blender if I have got the time to work it a bit longer onto the skin.

Overall is a very good foundation and the fact it has got a SPF 15 makes it even better.
I have applied with and without a primer and I found out my best result was when I used it with the Physicians Formula Argan oil primer (a must have, such a fantastic base for glowing skin).

If you are lucky enough to fit into the light or medium shade (Gosh I just can't believe it, two shades only!) , I would recommend it as a good coverage every day foundation.

If you are considering buying this or any other Phyisicians Formula product, you can have a look on I Herb that ships to UK without custom fees.

Any Phyisicians Formula thing I should absolutley try? Send me ideas!

Hi Everybody!

I am here sitting in my garden, I still can't believe how hot is it today and I am considering phoning sick in work tomorrow...would it sound suspicious?

So a couple of weeks I discovered Selfridges is now stocking Huda Beauty online so I decided to write this post to share with you my thoughts about the first product ever I got from the brand.

I got the Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette as soon as it became available to buy in Uk.
Whils everybody was fighting to buy it from Cult Beauty waiting for new stocks etc, I got it from Harrods without any problem and at the same price, yay!

The palette has been one of the most successful releases of 2016, with every single blogger, make up artist, make up junkie and their mothers wanting it and raving about it.

I got mine, I tested it, tried it and finally, after all these months I can tell you my final verdict: I love it!

First of all, the shade selections: 18 shades, 10 matte, 2 satin, 6 foiled metallic ones.

The matte shades go from the darkest black to the softest beige, a good selection of nude and browns and the pinks, with maneater being my favourite.

These shades are very versatile, they can be used as transition shades, for a soft neutral look or for the most dramatic smoky.

The texture is smooth and velvety and none of it has a dramatic fall out during the application.

The foiled shadows have created a bit of a controversy, with a lot of people complaining about problems in the application.

I kind of see the point, because the creamy texture makes absolutely impossible to apply these shadows with a brush.

I have tried any kind of brush available, silicone, duofiber, natural bristles etc, nothing, thy just won't stick to any of them.

The only way to apply these shadow is by using your dear old finger.

I know, it can be annoying and i was a bit concerned about it when I read all the comments about this matter, but once I saw the swatches, everything was forgiven, everything, because, look at these....

I have done few full eyes make up with this palette and the shadows last a long time (with primer of course), just after a full day (I am talking about 12 hours or more) I could notice the foiled shades tent to crease.

So what's my final verdict?
Well, this is a tricky one.

I love this palette, I really do and if you are like me an obsesse make up junkie, you can't miss it, it's a must have.

But I must admit it comes with a high price tag (£56) and despite being incredibly good, all the shadows are easily dupeable (gosh does this word exist at all?), I am sure even the foiled ones are easy to recreate with some pigments, glitters and mixing medium.

If you want to get it, you can find it here, here and here.

I will talk to you soon!

Hello Make Up Lovers!

How are you all doing today?
Hope you are well and ready for one of my faveourite subjects: Red Lippies!

So one of my latest post was about a wonderful italian brand thay I hope will be one day available in UK, Wycon Cosmetics.

I decided to dedicate a blog post to one of the wycon products I loved most.

Last year Wycon came out with a collection colled Cosmo Samurai that included some lip kits called "Duo Kisses" (lip pencil+liquid lipstick) that did so well they were left in the permanet collection.

I got the shade 10 furious red (love the name!) and it went straight on top of the Best Red Lippie's chart.

Reasons why I love it:

- Bright blue based red, incredibly intense andprobably one of the most vivid reds I own.

- Lip liner is soft, buttery but very precise, doesn't smudge and I can use it with my other reds.

- The liquid lisptick doesn't dry out the lips, last like FOREVER without peeling or craking.

- price is more than resonable, the duo will cost you about 10 euros.

Here are some lip swatches.

Nice isn't it?

I had a look at the website and the all new collections looks incredible, here is what I got on the wishlist (=what I am gonna buy as soon as I put foot on italian ground).

* The paradise bronze bronze from the exotica collection

*The Siria palette from the Amani collection

* The Aqua Foundation from the Androgyny collection

If you have a chance, read the story behind the Amani collection, it's beautiful and inspiring.

Talk to you soon!

Hello Darlings!

If you have ever been to Manchester, you will know what we are surely not short of places where eat and drink.
Today I want to talk about one of these where you can find excellent food, nice athmosphere and a good variety of drinks and fancy cocktails.

Feeling a bit peckish?
Well don't read this post then cos you will be probably drooling over the first picture you see popping onto your screen.

I was invited to sample Malmaison's new menu and I was so excited about it.

I knew the place due to few bloggers event that have been held there, it's one of those super stylish  locations where you cannot put the camera down.

I went with Perfect Husband on a Saturday lunch and the place was buzzing with people enjoying lunch, few cocktails in between shopping or afternoon tea with family.

The menu has a good selection of meat, fish and vegetarians options.

I choose a very special starter an oh gosh, dear Mr Chef, you made me very happy.
I ordered Fresh Burrata, which is an italian fresh creamy cheese typical of Puglia which is, have a guess, where I am from!
Hubby had the same and he was quite pleased with it aswell.

The burrata is one of those cheese that has to be eaten fresh and I am very happy to put my seal of approval on what I tried at Malmaison cos it was delicious, served with a fresh tomato salad and herbs sauce.
It was like coming back home with a bite!

As a main I had a very generous portion of steak frites, a perfectly served rump steak served with french fries and salad.
The meat was teneder and juicy and once again, as the starters, nicely presented.

The Mr went for the fillet steak.
He always has his meat well done (crazy, I know, don't make me start) and his feedback was more than positive, it wasn't too dry or chewy.

Faveourite part finally came, yes of course I mean desserts!

I choose the warm valrhona with caramel chocolate brownie, brown butter and pecan ice cream, as if I could be able to resist anything that has chocolate and pecan!

It was pure dessert heaven, it really melt in my mouth without being anyway too sweet and the contrast in between the soft chocolate cake with the cruncy hazelnuts was perfectly balanced.

Perfect Husband went for the Valrhona chocolate pave with pistchio ice cream and green tea syrup and he liked it so much he forgot to let me try a bite.
I know, I know, he didn't forget it at all, he just wanted to eat it all.

Special mention goes to the Malmaison's very professional and nice staff, that was very helpful helping us to choose the food, explaining everything we were curious about, always with a friendly and relaxed smile.

Put this all togheter and you will find the perfct spot for your brusnches, lunches, dinner and week end celebrations!

I would recommend to have a look at the Malmaison's website to explore the menu, check the offers available and why not, book a table for this upcoming Father's day!

There is a special spring fixed price menu where you can enjoy two courses for £19.95 or three for £24.95, not bad at all for the quality of food you get, believe me.

So who is hungry now? Me, for sure.

Hello Gorgeous.

I am very excited about today's post because we all love talking about a new make up brand don't we?

This brand is basically unknow in UK, it's made and sold in Italy so I really hope that after reading this post and seeing the pictures of the products, you will go on the brand's social media channels to pester them about opening shops or, at least, ship in UK!

Ladies and Gentlemen let me introduce you Wycon Cosmetics.

This make up brand is very well established in Italy, growing fast in terms of popularity, quality of products, distribution and innovative launches.

Wycon is sold online or in official stores, you will not find counters in beauty malls etc.

The Wycon shop will remind you a lot a Kiko one, with walls covered with lipsticks, eyeshadows, foundations in every colours, texture, finish etc and central tables where the new collection and sale items are displayed.

These are, in my opinion, the winning points:

- Variety: Think about a product, a formula, a shade, Wycon will have it there for you.

- Purse friendly: We are talking about £10 for a foundation, £5 for an eyeshadows and £6 for a lipstick. Limited edition products are more expensive but they go on sale and there are always promotions going on. On top of that, there is a reward program with a fidelity card.

- New collections: With an averaged of 6 collections a year (more or less) there is always a dropping of new cosmetics

- Quality: Never been disappointed and reviews of the products are normally brilliant in between bloggers etc.

- Innovation: Some brands just follow the lead of what is trendy. Wycon keeps coming out with new products. Here is an example: the laquer cover, a shield to put on top of your finger to protect your fresh manicure. NEVER SEEN BEFORE!

Now, let me show you some pirtures and swatches of Wycon fantastic products so you understand better what we are talking about.

What do you think? Do you like what you see?

At this point there is only one thing to do left: meet me on Wycon's social medias (IG, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube) to ask for UK shipping!!!!
