 Hello Glamorous people!

This post makes me very happy and proud indeed.

I can totally recall the day when I received my first Swatch: it was a present for my 16th birthday and I was jumping up and down the house.

Few years have now passed (only a few, I swear) and despite I changed about four houses and I moved out of the country, I still own that swatch...and few more.

Who would have though that one day, I was gonna be a guest for the opening of a brand shiny new
Swatch store???
My sixteen year old self is over the moon for that!

So c'mon, let's go, have a guess, inside Manchester Arndale, to have a look at the new Swatch mecca.

Located on the ground floor just near Next, the shop is incredibly nice and friendly.

All the swatchs are displayed so that you can have a good look and try all the different styles.

Every year some limited edition pieces are released, serious stuff people, you really want to keep your eyes peeled for that and I strongly recommend you to follow them on IG to stay updated.

I was quite impressed by all the styles, the collections, from the funky coloured style, to the ultra tech  Irony Chrono (my fave line, ever!) and let's not forget they do sunglasses and jewellery aswell!

I will show you soon which swatch I was kindly given but in the meantime, enjoy the pictures and why not, visit the shop!

Good night!

When you are in a trendy location, with lots of sparkle, glamorous people and well stocked drinks, you are probably at one of Stephanie's event.

Few weeks ago I was invited to the Alchemist in Spinningfield, Manchester, to celebrate the launch of Elegance lashes by Maria Cristina and here we go, as predicted, the atmosphere was buzzing!

In between having my hands covered in glitters and sipping delicious drinks, surrounded by incredibly well dressed and funny people, we had a look to these new range of falsies.

Once again, well done Steph!

But now, back to business...

The goody bag generously provided a set of two pairs of lashes.

Now, if you think all false lashes are the same, oh well, change your mind cos these are impressive!

These babes are real mink fur lashes with a special 3D design.

This translate in an incredible volume, structure and definition.

I use false lashes all the time, I have tried billions of lashes, every kind and every sort but as soon as I put these on I was sold to a life time long friendship.

The "Signature" lashes are perfect for an everyday use, with a mix of short and long lashes.

The "Flutterise" design is the one I prefer for a more dramatic effect.
They are structured as a double layer of lashes with a thick and dense effect.
What I love most about both of these lashes is the fact that they are incredibly lightweight.

I had a look at the website (where you can find a lot of informations about how to apply lashes, how to clean the glue etc) that they can be used up to 25 times.

Totally see this being true, cos they are incredibly well manufactured and the band is quite solid so it doesn't get ruined when you clean them.

The price, considering how many times you can use them, is quite fair, £11,99 each pair.

I would stock up if I were in you.

Speak to you soon, have a nice bank holiday week end everyone!

Hello Gorgeous!

I am back with a new post for you my dear make up lovers.

There are some days the mirror is my worst enemy.
Without saying a single word, it is there to shout out loud the dark truth: my skin looks shit, complexion is a nightmare and I don't have under eye bags, I have luggages.

These are the days I am on a mission to find a new concealer.

I wanted to try something with an industrial NASA approved strength, able to make my nutella abuse induced spots and pigmentations vanish.

I wanted to try the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Concealer but it's too expensive to be bought without testing the shade so I will have to wait until the end of September when A brand new MUFE corner will open in Debenhams in Manchester.

I was browsing the NYX stand in Boots in Manchester Arndale and here we go, I found 2 good ones.

What I use here is a "double concealers-colour correcting technique":

- First, you apply a concealer with a colour correct effect, specific to address your main concern, so basically what you want to conceal.

You will use:

    Green to counteract redness
Apricot to brightening dark under eye circles
Lilac to counteract yellow dull skin
    Yellow  to hide pinkish areas

- Second, you apply a concealer more similar to your skintone/foundation to even your skintone.

For the first step I chose NYX Dark Circle Concealer  (£6.50) in shade 03.

This little pot can make miracles.
It has got a full coverage effect and its orangy tones works on masking the dark under eye areas.
It's a soft paste infused with coconut oil, I apply it with a duo fiber concealer brush with little tapping movements.

It's incredibly smooth and easy to work.
I have used the orange concealer from Laura Mercier and believe me, the NYX one is ten times more easy to blend and creases less.

It does come in 4 shades, I bought shade 03 medium and for your reference I am MAC NC30.

For the second step I bought NYX Gotcha Covered (£5.50) in shade 03 beige.

This concealer is a thick dense paste with a full coverage effect that will make you scream BINGO!
It is exactly what I was looking for.
I apply it with a small precision concealer brush and then blend it with the tip of my beauty blender or a fluffy brush.

I set everything with powder and here we go, camera ready!

The full coverage effect will last all day with no creasing or smudging.
If it is particularly hot or humid a bit of setting powder will probably help.

It comes in 10 shades and it's an incredibly good concealer at a very friendly price.

These are some before/after pictures.

Verdict: Seriously good concealers, totally recommended.

I will talk to you soon!

Good Night

Hello my lovelies!

As you probably already know by my latest tweets and IG posts, I have been recently on a well deserved holiday on the Amalfi coast and Puglia, in South Italy.

I actually enjoyed a “I wanna live like this for the rest of my life situation”, where the most difficult decision of the day was choosing where to relax, private beach or swimming pool?

This scenary makes the perfect excuse to blog about the most summery ofthe subjects: Bikinis!!!!

I am very happy to share with you all the pictures I took at the Swimwear365 event held few weeks ago in Manchester.
