If you are familiar with subscription beauty boxes, you will certainly know Birchbox.
Few months back, the company launched a brilliant initiative, a Birchbox pop up shop, where costumers were able to fill their box with 6 products chosen from quite a juicy selection.
Pioneer of the "Build your Birchbox" was of course, Selfridges in London.
Since spotting the pictures on IG, I have been commenting, sharing, tweeting, pestering, basically HARASSING them to do the same in Manchester.
Well, it looks like I have been listened.
Birchbox Pop Up has been in Manchester in Selfridges Exchange in February and it will be in Selfridges Intu Trafford Centre from the 20th of March to the 9th of April!
The box is priced £15 and can be filled with 6 full size/travel size/sample size products chosen in between 6 sections: skincare, haircare, bodycare, beauty bonus and two make up sections.
Here is the full list of the products available, I am not sure if they will be the same for the Trafford Centre box, I am still waiting for an answer from the company.
As you can see there are some big brands as Sarah Chapman, Laura Mercier, Benefit, Bliss, This Works etc.
This is what I got when I bought my box in Selfridges Exchange:
* Laura Mercier Long Lasting Eye pencil in Violet
Fantastic deep violet shade, despite it's a bit dry and hard to blend
* Sarah Chapman 3D Moisture Infusion Mask
A boost of moisture for a plump effect, does miracle for dull skin
* This Work Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
I don't really believe in pillow spray but I must admit this leaves a nice and relaxing lavender scent
* Korres Santorini Wine Shower Gel
I adore Korres and this gel makes you feel like you are having a shower in a Mediterranean garden
* Macadamian Professional Shampoo
Not used yet, I will let you know
* Pop Beauty Peach Parfait Shadow Trio
I am actually impressed about the quality of this shadows. Metallic finish, blend like a dream,
intense pigmentation and long lasting.
Inside the box, you will also find a leaflet with a 50% discount for your first Birchbox, in case you decide to subscribe.
I will probably pop into the Trafford Centre to have a look (and buy a second box!),
Hope you will find this post useful,
