KOREAN BEAUTY: THE SAEM COVER PERFECTION LIQUID CONCEALER 02 REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Good Morning Gorgeous!

I cannot even describe how much I am loving having time to blog every day, God bless the holidays.

So if you, like me, could spend hours browsing Instagram, Ebay, You Tube, exploring Korean Beauty products, I am sure you will enjoy this post.

I was looking for a full coverage concealer and I stubled across this on ebay.

I decided to give it a go despite I could not find a lot of reviews about it, I have got the feeling it is not an incredibly popular brand.

First of all, it is less than 5 quids for 15 ml. Not bad at all isn't it?
Second very imoortant fact, it has SPF 30, bingo!!

Once I decided to buy it, I was a bit disappointed to find only two shades available, but I found a lot of Korean brands are incredibly limited in terms of shade range.

I went for 02 Rich beige, that is basically the darkes available.

I have tried this under my eyes and on my cheecks, blending it with a duo fiber brush.
It has a very thick consistency so you will have to work it a bit longer than a normal creamy concealer.

Final result? Perfection!

It is incredibly natural despite provides a full coverage.
It conceals all my pigmentations without clogging pores, it lasts all day long if used with a setting powder, I did not find a single negative thing to say about it.

The shade is perfect for my medium skintone (I am Mac nc30).

A full tube will last you forever, considering you really need a tiny ammount for a decent full cover effect and the tube is soft so you can squeeze all the products until the last drop without waste.

I had a look at more concealers from The Saem brand and I spotted a pot and another cream formula, they will be purchased very soon, trust me.

Here is the link to the seller I got it from but there are a few where it may be even cheeper.

Once again, forgive me for the post layout but this is the best I can do when I blog from my phone.

Enjoy the pictures and speak to you soon!

ESSENCE LIPSTICK " ALL YOU NEED IS RED" AND XXXL LONGLASTING LIPGLOSS IN 07 SILKY RED REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Hello dear red lips lovers,
If you follow me on twitter/IG you know I am not one to say no to a red lipstick.
My collection is basically endless and includes luxury brands as cheap good ones.
Essence is an incredibly purse friendly brand that always provides some nice pieces and today I am gonna show you one of my fave.

Today I want to talk to you about two essence lip products I love and use a lot.

" All you need is red " is a very wearable red lipstick, perfect for an everyday use, especially if you do not want to use a more intense or bright red.
It's a kind of transitional shade in between " I want a red lipstick" and " I do not want to be Dita Von Teese".

Despite looking shiny on the pictures (damn camera!) it is not a gloss.
It is indeed very pigmented and rich in texture and stays on the lips quite a long time despite it doesn't resist at all if you eat or have a long relaxing cuppa.

The second one is a liquid lipstick, that dries completely matte after few minutes from the application.
Now, this is not as pigmented as the other liquid lipsticks out there, as Jeffree Star or MUA or Lime Crime, it is quite more natural despite being a red lipstick.

It is long lasting but, again, not as other liquid lipsticks I have tried.

I have used the first lipstick on top of the second one, that can be a bit drying and I must admit it really works to keep lips from peeling or cracking.

Both cost less than 4 quids and there are a tonz of shades available.
As everyday lipsticks, I can totally recommend them.

Essence can be found in Wilko, in store and online.

One last thing, sorry about the shitty layout of these latest posts but I am on holiday and I am using my tablet and as you all know, blogger app is totally rubbish!

Speak to you soon!

Anna

FEW EMPTIES AW 2016

Hello happy people how are you?
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, I am here celebrating my holiday in South Italy and this can only mean one thing: food, a lot, all day long, food 24/7.
I realized I have never done a " empties " post so here we go, a little overview of some products I finished in the last few months and my opinions regarding all of them.

YVES ROCHER NEROLI SECRET D' ESSENCE EAU DE PARFUM

I tried this in store and loved it straight away. I confess I was looking for a dupe for the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino but it does not smell anything like it.
It is very strong as soon as it is applied but then turns into a sweet and musky scent.

YVES ROCHER ROSE FRAICHE

Another fragrance from Yves Rocher, a fantastic source of good fragrances.
This is pure peony essence so if you like the kind of scent.
The problem is that it doesn't last that much which is a shame because it's very good.

ESTEE LAUDER TAKE IT AWAY EYE AND LIP MAKE UP REMOVER

Eye make up removers are a big issue for me, it's really hard to find one that doesn't irritate or doesn't give me puffy eyes.
Thanks God I found this one, that removes every trace of make up in few seconds without a lot of rubbing.
So far, I think I have gone through 6 bottles.

NUXE BODY SERUM MINCEUR CELLULITE

Ah, cellulite, what a plague for legs! This gel used after the shower will not make the cellulite disappear but helps the skintone and skin feels smooth

LÓREAL SKIN PERFECTOR CLEANSING OIL

Despite  this is one of the quickest make up remover I have ever tried, ideal as a first step of my double cleanse routine, it will not be repurchased.
Unfortunately made my skin break out quite badly. I gave it few chances (I actually went finished it) but 100% sure it was responsible for spots and painful lumps on my face and neck. Basically all Lóreal skincaare products have this effect on my skin, there must be something they use it really doesn't agree with me.

L' OCCITANE LAVANDE FOAMING BATH

This is a must have on your bathroom shelf.
If you want to relax this is the perfect ingredient to your hot bath.
Add few drops and you will find yourself lost in a lavander field in Provence.

MUA UNDRESS YOUR SKIN ILLUMINATING FOUNDATION

This is a great base if you are looking for a glowing effect.
It is a foudation but gives your skin very low coverage so I would probably advise you to use it as a base or mixed with your standard foundation if you want a full coverage.
Shame it comes into very few shades.

CRYSTAL CLEAR WIPE AWAY YEARS CLEANSING MILK

This independent company provides excellent skincare at very reasonable price.
I have used this as a second step in my double cleansing, leaves my skin soft, not oily and most of all no spots!

BUDDHA BEAUTY DAY CREAM

I did a full review on the blog of this face cream and I found it so good it had to be repurchased.

GORGEOUS BY GOK BODY SCRUBS

This scrub was part of a set I got few years ago.
I rediscovered it and loved it.
It leaves a persistent scent on my skin and I liked the jelly texture.

TREVOR SORBIE REJUVENATE STRENGHTENING TREATMENT AND PAUL MITCHELL STRENGHT DAILY CONDITIONER

These two were life saving for my hair, before Olaplex.
Both work nicely too give soft and shiny hair without being too oily.

Hope you enjoyed this post and please, do let me now if you want to know more about any of the products I mentioned.

Speak to you very soon!

HAIR REVOLUTION BY VICKY PATTISON HAIR EXTENSIONS LAUNCH PARTY AND REVIEW

Hi Sweeties!

What do we think about hair extensions?
I have had, so far, a kind of love/hate relationship with then...until now.

My hair is terrible, it just won't grow over my shoulder.
The texture has improved enormously thanks to that miracle treatment a.k.a. olaplex, but lenght, nothing, forget it, impossible dream.

Last year, a very convenient Groupon deal convinced me to try micro ring extensions.

Biggest. Mistake. Ever.

The rings kept breaking my hair, chunks of extensions were falling apart every time I had a shampoo and brushing was a nightmare.

That convinced me to stay away from any kind of permanent bonded solution and to tell you the truth, I was not really intrigued by clip in extensions, quite scared about the final result and the horrific idea of clips showing through my hair, I want a 100% real effect you see, I kind of hate when people understand I have fake hair!

Well I am glad to inform you I kind of change my mind, after attending a brilliant event here in Manchester, when a new range of hair extensions was launched.

Hair Revolution is a new brand, founded by Vicky Pattison.

We are talking about real hair extension with a great selection of colours and lenghts.

The event was held in Victoria Warehouse were we could see all the different styles.

Surprise surprise, my usual hairdress, Ed's, was there at the event so I was incredibly glad he put them on for me.
I went for black, shiny  and of course, long hair.

What a change they made!

I can't believe I am actually able to have that fullness, lenght I have always wanted without compromising an 100% natural effect.

Would you believe I have got 6 pieces on my head?

The fact is that the band is very soft with firm clips that keep it in place and the hair, oh the hair!
The quality is very good, shiny and soft.

I have used , washed, styled for a month now and they still look amazingly good.

Here are some more pictures, look how flat they stay on the head and how nicely they blend.

Here is the website, the shop will be openeing soon, in the meantime you can follow them on IG (@hairrevuk) for more updated informations about the launch.

Thanks Ledigo Pr for having me and well done Vicky!

VICTORIA BECKHAM X ESTEE LAUDER COLLECTION

Hi there!

hope you are all well.

I am in total comfort-cosy mode, with loungewear and nice music on, so why not doing the thing I love more?
Let's talk make up then!

Yesterday afternoon I was shopping in Harvey Nic and Selfridges and I was happy to notice than the Victoria Beckham x Estee lauder collection is still available at the Estee lauder counters.

When it first came out, I had mixed filling towards this collection: to buy because in Vic we trust or to skip cos for God's sake we are drowning in make up?

At first, I decided to skip it but a very casual (not casual at all, ok) visit to the counter where there was a preview made me change my mind in 2 seconds.

Once I swatched the entire collection, I was sure about what to order, and few months after I can guarantee I do not regret the purchase.

First of all, packaging is in perfect MRS Beckham's signature style: sleek and posh.
The cases are sturdy, real designer pieces.

The first thing I bought was the Highlighter in 01 modern merculy (£48).

Inside the sleek and retro packaging, the highlighter is a fine powder with a bronzed gold finished.
I apply it with a fan brush (Zoeva does the best fan brushes ever) and just from the first stroke you will have a perfect ray of light right there where you want.
It blends nicely and gives that wet kind of look.

It's quite buttery so I love the fact that doesn't have any fall out all over the case...or your freashly ironed shirt.

I have used this a lot and yes, totally worthy that ammount of money.

Second (and last, but oh well, who knows...there may be another little shopping spree soon) item I got from the collection is the Eye Metals Eyeshadow in 01 bitter clove (£36).

I knew this was gonne sold out in a blink as soon as I swatched it.
It's a kind of metal taupe shade, with a powder/cream texture and a metal finish.
I really struggle to use this with a brush due to the texture, so I tried a little sponge applicator and it did the trick.

I am very tempted to buy more like the red lipstick in Chilean Sunset and the bronzer but I will not deny I really hope to find some sale going on in January.

Once again, thanks to Estee Lauder for bringing us a little piece of our Vic  all for ourselves.

Collection is available online here and in all Estee lauder counters.
