God bless Net a Porter, giant of the luxury e commerce, for its wise decision to sell us poor people not US based, the Peter Pilotto collection for Target.

Target is a low cost american shop, (I would compare it to our BHS maybe?) that in the past couple of years has scored some very good collaborations as Missoni, Jason Wu and Prabal Gurung to name a few.

When I read the new collaboration was gonna be with Peter Pilotto I knew I was gonna spend a lot of time browsing ebay to put my paws on some of the amazing prints that made this duo of designer famous all over the world.

I saw the preview of the collection and the prices on line and I was in love, that's why I was literally jumping on my bed when I found out Net a Porter was gonna sell the collection Worldwide.

So the sunday morning the collection went on sale I jumped out of the bed, flying over Perfect Husband, Precious Baby, Adorable Dog (no we don't actually sleep all together, despite I am not embarrassed to say I'd love to, let's say we are very very close) and two set of stairs, as soon as I got the tweet "Collection is now available to buy".

It was my first experience with Net a Porter and, oh my, they really know how to treat costumers.

The shipping was so fast, it took only 2 days and there were no duty charges.

The black box with fabric ribbon was so sophisticated I was even scared to open it.

I was even given a small retractable tape to help checking the right size for future purchases.

I got two dresses and a pair of shorts.

Floral Dress $39

Short $29.99

Like if I could say no to a tutu skirt...

Printed dress $79.99

Few other things I wanted were sold out but few days later I saw a tweet from Poppy saying she was selling some items because she got the size wrong...and this is how I got this jumper that I have been wearing every other day, so much I love it.

Printed Sweatshirt $29.99

Now, I got this top aswell but it's to small for me, it's a UK 14 and if anybody is interested I am selling it for £18, feel free to contact me!

Now, I am dying to know who is gonna be the next collaboration!

Every time I watch an episode of " Keeping up with the Kardashians " I come to the following  conclusions :

* I need a neon yellow Hermes birkin bag in my life
* I need to start a diet
* I want to rock a bright coral lipstick as Courtney does.

I am working on the first two points,  but I can proudly say I won on the third one.

The first thing I did was getting my teeth whitened: yellow teeth and coral lipstick gives me goose bumps.

I only use a professional home bleaching treatment for my teeth,  no cheap and dodgy products from ebay for something that goes in my mouth thanks.
I normally go a couple of shades lighter but  thanks to my stupid tea addiction I make sure I use a whitening toothpaste to keep the results as long as possible.

At this point I threw myself in the search of the perfect coral red on a budget, considering is not a shade I am gonna wear all the time.

The Vivids collection from Maybelline has got a coral red that I find more close to a plain orange; Milani does some stunning bold shades but the ones that I chose after watching few videos and swatches on various blogs, ended up being too red or too yellow based.

I was at the end, heading to the dear old Mac counter when I got the Avon catalogue and BAZINGA!

The Avon Ultra Colour Lipstick in "lava love" has got the perfect balance in between the red and the orange tones.

The lipstick itself is creamy, richly pigmented and moisturising.

Only one coat will have this effect...

These lipstick should have a "Self renewing colour system", that means that the colour should stay longer once you put the lips together: I am not sure this really works but I can guarantee this lipstick will go on for few hours without fading or worse, migrating towards your teeth.

At the moment the price is discounted at a mere £4.00. I may try another shade...

God bless the Cosmetic Company outlets for letting me buy mac pigment in the big chunky jar at a fraction of the price.

I got Blackened red few months ago and I love the subtle sparkle, the warm dark red shade and the effect that changes with different colour bases I use underneath.

Mandatory with this pigment is the use of a primer to avoid a dramatic fall out all over your face.

Forgive the quality of the pictures but lighting was very poorly and I am bored of waiting for sunny days!

Products used:

Mac Blackened Red pigment
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue
Elf eyeshadow c brush

Coastal Scent pencil brush

Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Black
Avon Super Shock Eyeliner in Black (best black eyepencil ever invented)
Mac eyeliner brush 209

Heads up girls, it's time to get your eyebrows sorted and this time, it's for a very good cause.

As you all know most of the Benefit counters have Brow Bars.

Through all the month of March all over the Benefit Brow Bars in Debenhams you can have your eyebrows shaped and waxed for free (usual charge starts from £10), giving just a donation of £5 to the charity Look Good Feel Better.

I had a look to the website of the charity and it ended up being quite a  touching experience.

This international charity supports and help women and teenagers affected by cancer to deal with the sometimes terrible side effects, encouraging self confidence and self esteem in patients undergoing the treatments.

Think about one of those days when we feel rubbish; then we wash our face, put a bit of make up on and we instantly feel better.

Now think about how a cancer patient must feel: and here comes the Beauty Volunteers!
If providing a little pamper time can help them feeling better, well, I really think it's worthy all our support.

I am gonna book an appointment as soon as possible, are you?

You can also donate here!

Well done Benefit and Debenhams for the initiative!

Hello my lovelies!

Few weeks ago I received an exciting email from Debenhams announcing me I had been chosen by my friend Lily to be part of a daisy chain of friendship.

Basically, every blogger involved had to choose two bracelets to send to two bloggers, asking them to do the same, choosing two bracelets to send to two more bloggers and so on.

I was the last blogger of the chain so I couldn't nominate any other blogger, but I received a gorgeous bracelet chosen by Lily from the Debenhams website.

What can I say? The girl knows me too well...

This is my bracelet, it's from Floozie by Frost French, isn't it lovely?

Lily knows I love big bracelets, and this suits me so well.

It's a golden elasticated bangle with pastel pink and light blue stones enriched by white crystals.

I have been wearing it a lot since I received it, alone or stacked with other favourites.

It's perfect for spring thanks to the pastel colours and very easy to wear, not too heavy or too chunky on the wrist.

You can find the bracelet here and here with a generous 20% off at the moment.

I adore it, thank you so much Lily and thank you Debenhams of course.

I need to share with you this new Primark haul in order to feel less guilty about the fact I cannot really visit that store without coming out with a bag.

The newly renovated Manchester shop is blooming with new arrivals for spring summer and I have to admit my wish list is basically endless.

Look how beautiful this outfit is..

Let me show you what I got.

Yes I needed black skinny  jeans but most of all I need that "push up and push on" effect.

I tried those yesterday and despite not transforming into Pamela Anderson , I adore the fitting and the very soft fabric of the jeans: £10 well spent.

Primark statement and bib necklaces are all over glossy magazines at the moment and I can easily see why, so here is my pick.

Not sure if I am gonna use this as a clutch bag (£4) or a make up bag but I am sure it will not be forgotten in the draw, I am obsessed with these kind cartoon of prints at the moment.

As you probably read on twitter, Primark has come out with a new beauty range full of lipstick, lip glosses, nail polishes etc.

I had a quick look but to be honest I am not really impressed, looks very cheap and average but if you are on a budget you should check that out considering prices are around 1 or 3 quids max.

I got those sponges that I find very useful to remove masks, especially the ones that dry out on the skin and can be a proper nightmare to take off.

Now this is something I was very curious to try. It's basically a silicone sponge that can be used to remove make up with your normal cleanser.

I tried it as soon as I got home and I am in love.
It gives to the skin a proper massage and it's not harsh at all, leaving a kind of tingling sensations and it's very effective to remove make up.

Last purchases, two little make up brushes.

For £1 and £1.50 I really couldn't ask for more.

Synthetic hair, soft, solid handles, no shed and no colour fade on the first wash, seriously, this range deserves a round of applause.
I got the stippling brush and the eyeshadow one, but there are some more available.

Any purchase you want to share?

Hello people!

As you remember few months ago I told you about my skin consultation with Kiehl's.

Today I want to talk to you about one of the products I was advised to use.

Enter the Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque.

I could summarise this post in three words: BUY IT NOW.

This is one of those hero products I will repurchase again and again once finished.

Let me explain you why and how does it work.

This masque has got a gel consistency with a light fresh smell that you apply onto clean and make up free skin before going to bed and leaving it for about 10 minutes.

The consistency doesn't change consistency or colour, just stays as a nice soft gel.

After this time you don't need to rinse your face, you just just wipe the excess off with a clean tissue and you go to bed.

The morning after you rinse your face with a gentle cleanser ( I use this) and voila', you are done, ready to look at the mirror and smile.

The skin is soft, bright, even, basically poreless, giving that kind of perfect-skin-feeling when you go to apply the make up and no primer needed, believe me!

It gives me that kind of sensation of clean and pure skin I get after a deep facial or after a peeling.

I use it once a week, twice if I suffer from dull-skin-depression or spots festival.

I have tried overnight pack before, especially from asian brands found on ebay, but I have never been so satisfied as I am with this one.

It will cost you £28 here but one 125ml pot will last you forever, I have been using it since October and there is more than half left.

Kiehl's has recently come out with a new face cream, the Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream, that appears to be another little jewel from this brand.

Packed with Copper PCA and Calcium PCA (that we all know what they are right? *silence*) it has got a wrinkle reduction effect mixed with skin protection and stimulation of collagen and elastin fibres.

I was lucky enough to be given some Selfridges gift cards for my birthday, I think we all know where they will be spent, right?
