Patiently waiting for the opening of a Kiko make up shop here in Manchester, today I want to show you two make up brushes I bought few months ago back in Italy.

Both of them are for eyes make up.

The eyes 200 is a rounded brush made with both natural and synthetic hair and a wooden handle. It's quite stiff but doesn't scratch the skin.

It's designed as a blending brush but I have to warn you that if you like very soft bristles for the mission you will be disappointed cos, as I said, is quite hard.

The second one is number 207 and is a pointed brush made with natural hair.  It's more rounded than the famous brother from Mac 219 so I wouldn't call it a pencil brush.

As the one before, this is not soft at all and you may find uncomfortable to use it in the crease, but I must say it does a very good job when I use it on my lower lash line to blend a dark pencil or a dark eyeshadow when I go for a smoky.

Both on sale at the moment, they are priced £8.70 each and you can find the link here.

A little bird told me Manchester Fashion Week is coming back, full of surprises, news and, a lot of fashion!

I was lucky enough to be contacted by the amazing team to be part of the official bloggers and last Sunday we met in the stunning Radisson Blue Hotel to catch up with all the new updates about it: at the moment my mouth is sealed but...stay tuned!

The place doesn't really need introduction, we are talking about one of the most exclusive place in town, with a view to die for and a Spa that I would be more than happy to visit more frequently *looks at the Perfect Husband*..

We had the chance to see some clothes from Ark and thanks to Charlotte from Manchester based  WamBam Photography we were treated with a photo shoot.

This is what I decided to wear for the occasion, hope you like!

I paired my beloved River Island feather skirt with a black Primark shirt and my Marni for H&M blazer, shoes are from Zara, past winter collection.

As always, I didn't spare the accessories!

Rose Gold watch from Fossil, pearl bracelet from Ti Sento (amazing brand!) and charms bracelet from Swarovski.

Bangles from Swarovski, charms bracelet from ebay.

And here is the whole lot!

Stay tuned for Manchester Fashion Week updates!

I really hope you didn't think I forgot about my beloved Selfridges during the sales.

As always, I wasn't disappointed.

I didn't have any hesitation in choosing what I wanted, the object of my desire was, of course, the Murakami collection for Shu Uemura.

As always, the lovely Danielle at the Shu counter in the Trafford Centre has been more than helpful, that girl really knows how to make a client happy believe me!

Enter my new babies..

Yes!!! I got the eyelashes!

I couldn't really leave them there, only £5 people, 5 little quids.

I know, I know, it's not that easy to find an occasion to wear this particular model but I couldn't say no to the sparkling heart, the pink details, the all SHU factor (do I need to remind you this brand is famous all over the world for the stylish lashes?).

The second find was the Enchanted Black palette from the collection.

I own several Shu palettes and every time I am impressed by the colour payoff and the longevity of the eye shadows on my eyelids, even without using a primer.

The sparkling green has to be the shade I like more in this palette, such a bargain at £25!

Thank you Selfridges for some great savings on something I wanted so badly!

Now, a little anticipation of the next Sales Special's a Secret....

Good morning everybody!

Hope you are all doing ok.

When I first moved to Manchester, about five years ago, I remember TkMaxx having a big jewellery aisle with loads of discounted branded pieces.

After a bit it was removed and since then it was very rare to find jewellery in the store, which was a real shame considering TKMaxx is usually a proper mecca to find bargains.

Just for this reason I was more than delighted to find an invitation on their facebook page about a launch event of the new jewellery corner in the Manchester Arndale.

Of course I didn't miss the chance to see what was this about and I must say I was not disappointed.

The display cabinets were packed with every sorts and style of necklaces, earrings, bracelets etc.

There were a lot of watches from famous brands with reduced prices (note to self; keep an eye on these!).

For the party launch, there was a stunning burlesque dancer,  live music and drinks were served.

Isn't she stunning???? I couldn't stop staring at her!

Now, if you know me a bit you will probably know I adore Juicy Couture jewellery. You will understand then, my jaw dropped as soon as I saw all these at a fraction of the original price!

...and this brings us to the Juicy haul!

I got a bracelet and a necklace, all for less than £30, compared to the £100 and more I would have paid full price.

Here comes the bracelet.

It's chunky, big, sparkling, basically has got my name on it.

The little crowns on the back buttons are so nice and it fits perfectly on my wrist.

The necklace is a plain chain with a heart and the logo impressed on it.

It's a kind of old gold colour and despite I own already two juicy necklaces I must say this is one of my fave because goes basically with everything.

I have got a feeling me and this place are gonna be good friends!

Hello people,
How are you all doing tonight?
Hope you are all having a nice week end, despite the disgusting weather: I am freezing!

Tonight I want to share with you few products I am really enjoying at the moment, for various reasons: easy to use, smart, time saving stuff or just good cosmetics that have gone beyond my expectations.

Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for lips

This ointment for the lip has become one of my must have during this winter, thanks to its light texture and its moisturising action: it has been a life saver considering I have been using matte lipstick a lot (ruby woo I am talking to you!).

Miss Eylure Lashlets

I bought these back in July in a pound shop and now, my biggest regret is I didn't buy any single pair available in the shop.

These are pre-glued falsies that won't require more than two minutes to be placed even if you don't have a very steady hand.

I am normally quite good with false eyelashes and glue but I must admit these saved me a lot of time when I was in a rush to get out of the house without being beheaded by my Perfect Husband.

I love the design as well, quite natural really, I don't like a too dramatic effect.

Avon Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil for hair

Love, love, love.
This oil should be in every single bathroom of the country.

The texture is extremely light, it doesn't make my hair look greasy, it smells divine and I only need few drops. I use it on wet hair and few more drops on dry hair before using my GHD and the result is salon-proof: smooth, shiny, soft effect.

Keep an eye on the Avon catalogue on the website because there are always interesting offers on hair products, I got the shampoo, the conditioner and this oil for £5 in total!

Rodial 5 Minutes Facial and Glamoxy Snake Serum

Rodial is a brand that really intrigues me but, due to a very unfriendly price tag, I didn't have the chance to play with a lot.

Thanks to Glossy Box I got these two samples to try and, oh people, I am in love.
The mask and the serum work as a real facial for my skin. it looks like I have just done a professional peeling. Skin is even, soft, smooth, tight and applying make up on such a base is a dream.

Essence Colour Arts Silicone Brush

Hurray! Essence is coming to UK!

This low cost brand has been spotted around the country in few Wilkinson shop, hopefully it's just a matter of time until will be available nationwide.

This brush is a flat applicator made in silicone that has proven to be excellent to pack glitters and pigment reducing the fall out on the cheeks (don't you hate when this happens?).
It's bloody easy to clean and only costs a couple of quids.

Etude House Yogurt Wash Off Pack

I will start by saying I don't have a clue about what does it say on the packaging of these masks I bought on ebay.
I used all of them as normal face mask and I liked the yummi smell, the soft texture and the fresh sensation i felt on my skin after using them.

Everybody will agree with me that you don't really need to wait for sales to visit Primark.

The reductions around the store are anyway another reason to leave with few bags full of good bargains, nearly guilt-free towards our savings.

Here we come....

I really enjoy buying lounge wear recently, and this 3 pieces set is soft, comfy and looks posher than the £5 price tag.

Who doesn't need a feather bag?

There was a pink and a black-greenish version, I went for the second but I don't wanna lie to you, I may consider going back and get the pink version too.

I believe I paid the full price for this bag which was a mere £8. Probably in Top Shop (most-overestimated-shop-ever) you would have paid £80 for something like this.

Did I see chunky jewellery? Mine!

I wanna use this long chain stacked with other necklace or as a bracelet.

This necklace is from the new collection and is only £2.50.

This would not be a haul from Primark without blouses, two blouses to tell you the truth.

Priced only £3 each,  they are made of the softest cotton and the bow detail on the back adds something more special to the already smart design. I got the green and the sand one but I believe there is a black version too.

I find these very easy to use with jeans and a big necklace or with shorts.

Ah by the way, I got a pair of shorts too!

Yellow tweed, £1, I couldn't ask for more!

Finally,I am gonna show you two dresses I got for £5 each.

I have been wearing the first quite a lot, with black leggings and black velvet boots but i am afraid the second one is going back in the shop, despite liking it very much i just cannot find a smart way to wear it without looking a japanese doll.

That's all folks for tonight!
